This is true if you try, if you make the minimal effort. The person who totally goes through the motions or worse might not make it, but if you try to think about things the least bit and connect yourself with Am Yisrael over the generations, you can get wonderful results. Even if your kids don't usually listen to you all that much, on this night it works, and there are residual effects.
