Whereas Reform says, "we will do 'X' because we want to," Conservative tries to come up with quasi-halachic justifications. This only thing inaccurate about this brilliant Swiftian treatise is that most neo-"halachic" organizations wouldn't be threatened by intermarriage, because it wouldn't be "compassionate" to tell a Jew who to love/marry.
