Nanny State

A couple of us mixed it up a while back on the issue of intrusive government. The following is a link to a clever illustration of the confluence of commercial database and information mining and a nanny state. Of course, the organization who created it is, imho, much more of the problem than the solution - but, with that caveat, enjoy:

  1. I believe there was a time on Earth where people thought certain things would never come about and in fact that certain ideas were just too crazy to ever be true. We have come a long way in a very short amount of time. Even a group such as the ACLU can bring something to our attention that is worth noticing, instead of always burning them at the stake for being heretics. Nothing is impossible
