Now wait just a minnit!

The two of you just staged this, in order to make it look like the Orthodox arent quite as monolithic as people were led to believe. Right?

Monolithic, Menken? Monolithic?!? Are you mad? My black velvet yarmulke has 4 parts. Last time I checked, R. Yitzchok’s had six parts – and yours was plain cloth!

We’ve got all kinds of seething sectarianism under our….um, indistinguishable black Borsalino fedoras.

So, anyway, I don’t know what made me think of this – but does anyone else feel that the word “orthodox” has lost all value as an adjective when preceding the word Jew? I mean there are so many things calling themselves “orthodox” which seem so fundamentally at odds with one another.
